We are thrilled to endorse Vinny Spotleson for Assembly District 41!

Spotleson is a high school social studies teacher got his start as an organizer with the Sierra Club successfully leading the fight to close the Reid Gardner Coal Plant, the largest source of pollution in the state and the dirtiest coal plant in the country, and transition it to a solar storage facility. He went on to work for two of Nevada’s congressmen where he worked with environmental groups to protect more than one million acres of public lands. If elected, he’ll prioritize reducing Nevada’s reliance on fossil fuels for electricity and transportation by passing laws to expand solar and battery storage capacity and building a light rail service in Las Vegas.
